In the shadows
of the towering fortifications around Malta’s capital city, which
once constituted the islands’ main military defense, lies the Osborne
Hotel, housed in one of the magnificent palaces built by the knights
of the Order of St. John.
The hotel’s
59 twin rooms, four interconnecting rooms and one suite have been
recently refurbished like the rest of the hotel. Colour TVs, direct
telephone dialing, air-conditioning and hairdryers are standard
in every room. The guests are guaranteed a home-from-home atmosphere
combined with a sense of coziness and personal attention unprecedented
in most Mediterrean countries. |
